About Norcross Community Market
The mission of Norcross Community Market is to build community around food. We bring farm, food and friends together in a family friendly, festival-type venue. The goals are improved Health and Nutrition, enhanced Economic Development, strengthened Community Vitality, and greater Environmental Stewardship. In addition to providing Norcross area residents and visitors a place to purchase locally and sustainably grown seasonal food, the Market aims to provide a replicable model for successful local food access and distribution for other Georgia farmers markets.
In keeping with standards set by the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Green Communities program, the market will earn the community credits toward continued certification as a Green Community. The City of Norcross provides support and assistance to make the market available. We also rely on the generous support of volunteers and sponsors.
