Pearson Farm

Pearson Farm fresh Georgia peaches and pecans are staples at the Norcross Community Market each year. We love that everyone coming to the Market can depend on those peaches being delicious. We’ve all been to the grocery or other markets and find that the peaches are ripe and delicious sometimes, but the next time they’re hard and tastless. This is never the case with Pearson’s peaches. You can count on that!

Family Owned and Operated

Pearson Farm is in Crawford County, Georgia, and dates back over 130 years. It was then that Winlock “Lockie” and Emma Pearson moved into the area and planted the first peach trees for the Pearson family. Their dedication and hard work continue to be family traditions even today as Pearson Farm remains one of the very few family owned peach farms left in the state.

Recognition and Awards

Pearson Farm was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for growing the WORLD’S HEAVIEST PEACH! It was an Early August Prince Peach and weighed in at a whopping 1 pound, 12 ounces. (Read all about Prince Peaches in this article written by Pearson Farm’s own, Angela Young).

Besides those wonderful peaches you can get their Natural Georgia Pecans (and pecan meal) at the Market each Saturday. In 2017 Lawton Pearson was named the Pecan Grower of the Year. One taste of Pearson pecans and you’ll agree how deserving he is.

A few words from Mr. Al

When we asked about future plans and goals for Pearson Farm he had this to say “We are working to learn more about our customers. We strive to accommodate and make necessary changes to be a good supplier of the very best peaches and pecans we can grow!”

Asked what else he would like everyone to know about Pearson Farm he shared this “We love growing peaches and pecans almost as much as we love sharing our bounty with others. Pearson Farm is proud to have our peaches in your market, and invite you all to visit us at the Farm!”

See You Saturday!

This Saturday, stop by the Pearson tent for some of those beautiful and delicious peaches. But, you may want to get there early. As hard as they try to have enough for everyone, sometimes their peaches (and pecans) are so popular that they sell out.
